The 11th edition of MIFMA Convex, organized by the Middle East Facility Management Association (MIFMA), under the theme \u201cFacility Management in the Digital Age - Towards Adopting a Smart Future\u201d, will be held from October 15-16, 2023 at Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister Mr. Ehab Bin Ghazi Al Hashani, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing.<\/p>\n
The conference will discuss best practices and experiences in Facility management <\/a><\/strong>In the current digital age, employing modern technologies in their management and raising awareness about the importance of the sector and its role in sustaining and prolonging the operational life of the facilities and mega projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of the digital transformation programs emanating from the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p>\n The conference is attended by decision makers in the facilities management sector and a number of government representatives, real estate developers, service providers and suppliers at the local and regional levels, with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) andPublic Authority for Real Estate<\/a><\/strong>the Riyadh Chamber, the National Committee of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the Middle East Facility Management Association, the Saudi Facility Management Company, and Oud Real Estate Company.<\/p>\n Jamal Lootah, President of the Middle East Facility Management Association, emphasized that the region is witnessing a remarkable acceleration in digital transformation processes in various sectors, especially the facilities management sector, by relying on smart digital solutions and developing an integrated environment based on best practices in sustainable development to provide an advanced and prosperous technological environment for future generations in the region.<\/p>\n Lootah pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has formed a unique global model in the development of infrastructure and facilities and the launch of mega projects produced by Saudi Vision 2030, and accelerated the wheel of sustainable development by achieving achievements that contributed to transforming it into a global model in facilities management, pointing out the need to encourage investment in smart solutions in the sector to meet the needs of society and
