His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/strong> The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, yesterday evening, Monday, October 16, 2023. \u201cMade in Saudi\u201d Exhibition\u201d<\/a><\/strong>In the presence of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Governor of Riyadh, His Excellency the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistics Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, and His Excellency the Minister of Education Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, the second edition of the exhibition continues until October 19, bringing together the most prominent national industries, services and innovations under its roof to introduce them to visitors, in a way that highlights national industries and cherishes their competitiveness.<\/p>\n

and testifies \u201cMade in Saudi\u201d exhibition\u201d<\/a> <\/strong>In its current edition, the event hosted the Republic of Iraq as a guest of honor in the presence of the Iraqi Minister of Commerce, Mr. Atheer Al-Ghurairi, and the participation of 24 Iraqi companies, as an extension of the strong economic relations between the two brotherly countries, and to enhance trade exchange with the Iraqi side and increase opportunities for the growth of national goods and services.<\/p>\n

During his opening speech, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources welcomed the participation of Iraq as a guest of honor in this edition, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries.<\/p>\n

His Excellency indicated that the \u201cMade in Saudi Arabia\u201d<\/strong> It is not a program for industry only, but a national program that includes all products and services, and the government, private sector and individuals have a joint responsibility in it, noting that the Kingdom has a strong industrial base capable of facing challenges, which enhances the chances of success of the Made in Saudi program to build on the gains and draw an identity for our industry that enables it to compete locally and globally.<\/p>\n

His Excellency said: \u201cWe will continue to achieve more successes, especially after the launch of several strategies, especially the National Industrial Strategy, Export Strategy and Localization Strategy, which are aligned to achieve our ambitious national goals, including attracting industrial investments estimated at about one trillion riyals, most of which are export-oriented to achieve one of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to make Saudi Arabia a leading industrial country and a global logistics platform.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cMade in Saudi Arabia is a celebration of our successes and belonging to our country, and the participation of Saudi products in the global competition and their access to many promising markets around the world,\u201d H.E. added.<\/p>\n

For his part, Iraqi Trade Minister Atheer Al Ghurairi thanked the Kingdom, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their high interest in strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.<\/p>\n

His Excellency praised the role of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council in strengthening bilateral relations, the results of which were tangible on the ground through the meetings of the main committees emanating from it, and the agreements reached that laid the foundations for sustainable joint work and the implementation of projects that will contribute significantly to long-term work in line with the strategic vision of the leaderships of the two countries.<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that the second edition of \u201cMade in Saudi Arabia\u201d exhibition includes more than 100 Saudi companies in an opportunity to introduce the Saudi product, and will witness the signing of more than 40 agreements that vary between export agreements and agreements to localize the industry with a value of more than one billion riyals.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
