Statistics<\/a><\/strong>in its latest report, announced that the General Real Estate Price Index in Saudi Arabia recorded a rise of 0.7% during the third quarter of 2023 on an annualized basis.<\/p>\n<h3>Rising residential land prices<\/h3>\n<p>In its report, the authority said that the rise in the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/?s=%D8%A3%D8%B3%D8%B9%D8%A7%D8%B1+%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B9%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%A7%D8%AA\"> Real estate prices<\/a><\/strong> In the Kingdom in the third quarter of 2023, it was affected by the rise in residential real estate prices by 1.1%, and the decline in both commercial real estate by 0.1% and the agricultural sector by 0.3% contributed to reducing the rise in the index, explaining that the rise in residential land prices is the largest indicator in the rise in real estate prices in the second quarter of 2023 on an annual basis.<\/p>\n<p>The authority also revealed that real estate prices in the residential sector increased by 1.1%, affected by the increase in prices of residential plots by 1.2%, year-on-year in the third quarter of this year, due to the heavy weight of the residential sector in the overall index.<\/p>\n<p>A report showed <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/tag\/%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%87%d9%8a%d8%a6%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d8%a7%d9%85%d8%a9-%d9%84%d9%84%d8%a5%d8%ad%d8%b5%d8%a7%d8%a1\/\">General Authority for Statistics<\/a><\/strong>Prices of buildings decreased by 0.9%, villas by 3.8%, and houses by 0.1%, while apartment prices stabilized.<\/p>\n<p>On a quarterly basis, the real estate price index rose by 0.2% during the third quarter compared to the second quarter of this year, the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Residential sector prices increased by 0.4%, influenced by the rise in residential plot prices, which rose by 0.4%, and agricultural sector prices stabilized and recorded no significant change in the third quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The index includes three main sectors consisting of several real estate items: Residential sector, consisting of the following items (land plot, building, villa, apartment and house), commercial sector, consisting of the following items (land plot, building,
