{"id":60287,"date":"2023-10-25T12:58:45","date_gmt":"2023-10-25T09:58:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=60287"},"modified":"2023-10-25T12:58:45","modified_gmt":"2023-10-25T09:58:45","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ae%d8%b7%d9%8a%d8%a8-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d9%85%d9%84%d9%83%d8%a9-%d8%aa%d8%b3%d8%aa%d8%ab%d9%85%d8%b1-%d8%a3%d9%83%d8%ab%d8%b1-%d9%85%d9%86-800-%d9%85%d9%84%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%b1-%d8%af","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/60287\/","title":{"rendered":"Al-Khatib: Saudi Arabia to invest more than $800 billion in tourism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>His Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib, affirmed that the Kingdom is the fastest growing among the G20 countries in<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/?s=%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B3%D9%8A%D8%A7%D8%AD%D8%A9\"> Tourism sector<\/a><\/strong>The number of tourists in the Kingdom has reached more than 30 million tourists, which represents 40% of the target number of the tourism sector, and is one of the most important sectors that contribute to economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>During a panel discussion held today entitled \u201cVision for the Growth Industry\u201d within the Future Investment Initiative, His Excellency said that work is underway to raise the contribution of the travel and tourism sector to the GDP from 3% for 2019 to 10% by 2030 and to attract 100 million tourists from the domestic and international arena.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Kingdom is investing more than $800 billion in<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/57079\/\"> Tourism sector<\/a><\/strong>Through a number of projects such as the Red Sea project, the Diriyah and Qiddiya project, and a number of special projects in various regions of the Kingdom that contribute to the advancement of the tourism sector, adding that the Kingdom will be one of the first countries in the ease of doing business through legislation and laws to be among the most efficient sectors.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the ministry is working to attract large investments to the tourism sector in the Kingdom and is working closely with the United Nations, the World Tourism Organization and the Travel and Tourism Council to contribute to the development of the sector, noting that ecotourism helps sustainability, which has become a central issue for the tourism sector.
