The project seeks active participation from the private sector in developing municipal regulations, This is considered one of the early stages of reviewing municipal regulations, which will subsequently be concluded by submitting them for review by the private sector on the \u201cIstila\u2019al\u201d platform.<\/p>\n<p>The committees launched by the ministry are working to ensure alignment with the private sector\u2019s aspirations. These include the Food Sector Committee, the Automotive Sector Committee, the Construction Sector Committee, the Sports and Entertainment Sector Committee, the Tourism Accommodation Sector Committee, the Trade and Retail Sector Committee, the Agriculture and Livestock Sector Committee, the Transportation and Logistics Sector Committee, the Crafts and Vocational Sector Committee, the Commercial Buildings Sector Committee, the Primary Healthcare Sector Committee, the Environmental Sector Committee, the Industrial Sector Committee, and the Personal Care and Wellness Committee).<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Assessment of the Current Status of Municipal Requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The committees\u201c tasks focus on assessing the current status of municipal regulations, studying their impact, and providing input on their development to improve business practices\u2014if necessary \u2013 identifying opportunities, challenges, and obstacles, as well as providing recommendations and solutions regarding them, and promoting integration within the business sector they represent and with other relevant sectors; to identify opportunities and provide appropriate recommendations, and to support cooperation and integration between the Ministry and the private sector to achieve the objectives of the \u201dMunicipal and Housing\u201d sector in a manner that serves the Kingdom\u2019s Vision 2030.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Melhem, General Supervisor of the Ministry\u2019s Agency for Licensing and Compliance, emphasized the Ministry\u2019s commitment to listening to the private sector\u2019s views and taking everyone\u2019s input into account, by providing opportunities to attend workshops organized by the Ministry to develop regulations and legislation, respond to the sector\u2019s needs and support its growth, create new competitive opportunities, and advance various industries.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Melhem added: Our role, alongside the private sector as partners and a working team, is not only to issue updated regulations, but also to elevate various sectors by involving them in the development of regulations and practices before they are officially implemented, with the goal of creating an attractive, integrated, and an effective and fruitful partnership.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that the project\u2019s outputs include a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and existing challenges, an in-depth study of the labor market, and an assessment of the impact of implementing <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/tag\/%d9%88%d8%b2%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b4%d8%a4%d9%88%d9%86-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a8%d9%84%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d9%88%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%82%d8%b1%d9%88%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d9%88%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a5%d8%b3%d9%83\/\">Requirements<\/a> The new initiative, in addition to the development of a \u201ccurriculum\u201d and specialized training modules for practitioners and inspectors, and the formulation of an effective human resources strategy, represents an important step toward achieving sustainable development that reflects the Ministry\u2019s commitment to collaboration, and continuous innovation to achieve its objectives.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> 2<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minutes<\/span><\/span>The Ministry of Alternative and Rural Affairs and Housing has launched the \u201cRequirements Development Committees\u201d project, as part of a quality initiative to involve the private sector in the development of municipal policies and legislation.
