These tracks include 22 indicators to measure the agency\u2019s progress and its contribution to improving the quality of life in cities.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Enhancing the Urban Landscape<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Among the most notable steps taken by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/60905\/\">The Ministry<\/a> <\/strong>In order to enhance the urban landscape and the concept of quality of life, it has launched the \u201cBahja\u201d project, which aims to create a vibrant urban environment that encourages walking and social interaction by establishing and developing 7,000 parks, and 1,500 urban interventions across all regions of the Kingdom by 2030, so that they serve as an extension of homes, allowing city residents to access parks and urban interventions within a radius of 800 meters, while the percentage of urban clusters incorporating parks by 2023 reached more than 58%, In addition, efforts to address visual pollution will continue through the identification of 43 elements to be addressed as part of a seven-year integrated national campaign titled \u201cGhalia \u201dAlaina\u201d in partnership with various relevant entities.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its efforts to promote sustainability, the Ministry is working with 70 major national projects covering areas exceeding 30 million square meters to advance the concept of sustainability in residential and commercial projects and communities, in accordance with standards that measure the sustainability of these projects and their compliance with environmental requirements, thereby enhancing their operational efficiency and ensuring they align with the concept of human-centered development. To boost real estate activity within urban areas and provide land at affordable prices under the \u201cWhite Land\u201d program, the total area of land that has been fully developed, is under development, or has entered the market has reached 189 million square meters across 18 cities.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Privatization of 70% Services\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As part of the ministry\u2019s goal to privatize 70% of its services, the ministry announced that it has privatized 19% of municipal services and aims to reach 30% next year.<\/p>\n<p>In the housing sector, the Ministry continued, under the umbrella of the \u201cHousing Program,\u201d to provide housing and financing solutions for Saudi families; more than 1.5 million families had benefited by 2023, including 747,000 families whose mortgage loans were subsidized through the Real Estate Development Fund, in addition to the launch of more than 160,000 housing units with prices starting at 300,000 riyals within residential complexes and suburbs equipped with comprehensive facilities and services under the framework of the \u201cSakan wa Akhtar\u201d initiative. These units are distributed across various regions and are being fully developed by the National Housing Company, with the goal of providing 300,000 housing units by 2025, in partnership with local and international real estate developers, thereby contributing to raising the homeownership rate to 70% by 2030.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Providing Adequate Housing for the Most Needy Families\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As for the route<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/60905\/\"> Developmental housing<\/a><\/strong> By providing adequate housing to the most needy families, the Ministry has been able to serve 32,000 families\u2014including 17,000 families in 2023\u2014in partnership with more than 400 associations, in addition to the opportunities offered by the \u201cJood Al-Iskan\u201d platform, which facilitates community contributions to provide housing for the most needy families.
