{"id":62299,"date":"2024-01-18T18:57:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-18T15:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=62299"},"modified":"2025-11-26T20:56:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T20:56:19","slug":"%d8%aa%d8%b1%d8%a7%d8%ac%d8%b9-%d8%a3%d8%b3%d8%b9%d8%a7%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ad%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%af-%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%b3%d9%85%d8%a8%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%85%d8%a7%d8%b6%d9%8a-%d8%a8%d8%b9%d8%af-4-%d8%a3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/62299\/","title":{"rendered":"Steel prices fall in December after 4 months of consecutive rises"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Data from the monthly bulletin released by the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/stats.gov.sa\/\">General Authority for Statistics<\/a><\/strong>for a lower average <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/56447\/\">Price of a ton of iron<\/a> <\/strong>in the Saudi market at the end of last December, on a monthly basis, after a series of rises that lasted for four consecutive months.<\/p>\n<p>The data showed that the average price of a ton of iron in the Kingdom fell by the end of the same month by 13.1% on an annual basis, to record an average price of 435.79 riyals compared to its value in December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to the monthly bulletin of the Statistics Authority, the average price of a ton of iron was recorded at 2891.97 riyals at the end of last December, compared to 3327.76 riyals per ton at the end of the same month in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>This decline was recorded last December, after steel prices witnessed increases during four consecutive months, as it was 2909.13 riyals in November, 2900.53 riyals in October, 2891.18 riyals in September, while it was 2883.24 riyals in August compared to 2874.45 riyals in July.<\/p>\n<p>On an annual basis, the price of a ton of iron during the past year 2023 decreased by 18.6% from the previous year, as the average price per ton during the past year reached 2995.54 riyals, compared to 3681.73 riyals per ton in 2022.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Rebar prices in different sizes\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>By the end of last December, 8mm national and 10mm national rebar fell by 15.1% and 15%, respectively, to reach SAR 2769.66 and SAR 2816.41, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The price of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/35787\/\">Iron<\/a> <\/strong>14mm national steel fell by 14.2% year-on-year to 2665.16 riyals per ton, while 12mm national steel fell by 14.07% to 2669.49 riyals per ton.<\/p>\n<p>16mm national steel fell by 13.9% to 2671.89 riyals per ton, and 18mm national steel fell by 13.78% to 2676.5 riyals per ton, while 18mm national steel fell by 13.78% to 2676.5 riyals per ton. As for the price of national 6mm iron, it decreased by 7.46% by the end of last December year-on-year, to 3974.69 riyals per ton, but increased slightly by 0.2% compared to its November price of 3966
