None of these goals could have been achieved without the support the sports sector has received.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>National Sports Strategy<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>His Excellency noted that the National Sports Strategy, led by His Highness the Minister of Sports, is based on three pillars: increasing participation in sports, talent identification, and improving the performance of elite athletes. This enables the private sector to invest in the sports sector, enabling the hosting of sporting events and providing the appropriate infrastructure for facilities and other needs, all of which have a significant impact on achieving the Ministry\u2019s objectives and shaping the future direction of the sports sector.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>The Real Estate Industry Through the Construction of Sports Facilities\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>His Excellency highlighted the significant support and enthusiasm for the construction and equipping of new sports facilities for events to be hosted in the Kingdom, such as the Formula 1 race in Jeddah, or major projects he is leading at the Public Investment Fund, such as Al-Qiddiya\u2014an integrated sports, entertainment, and cultural city\u2014 and in Neom, the Trogenal project, which will host the Winter Games by 2029, noting the Ministry\u2019s commitment to ensuring that sports facilities are accessible to the public and available for use around the clock.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed out that the Kingdom\u2019s hosting of sporting events such as the 2027 Asian Cup, Formula 1, and other events has a significant impact on sports, tourism, and other sectors by creating diverse investment opportunities and enabling the private sector to participate, noting that real estate developers and construction companies are an essential part and key partner in achieving the goal of building the facilities we look forward to having in place to host these major sporting events.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> 2<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minutes<\/span><\/span>During his participation in the Future of Real Estate Forum, His Excellency Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Qadi, Deputy Minister of Sports, investment in the sports sector as a key factor in boosting the growth of the real estate industry, noting that investors find tremendous opportunities in building infrastructure and developing sports facilities.
