Revealed General Authority for Statistics<\/a> <\/strong>In its annual report, the annual average real estate price index in Saudi Arabia increased by 0.7% during the last year 2023, compared to the annual average of the previous year 2022, due to the increase in the average price of the residential sector by 1.1%.<\/p>\n

According to the General Authority for Statistics, the residential sector was affected year-on-year by the increase in the prices of residential plots by 1.2%, and the prices of apartments by 0.8%, which is considered the most influential in the real estate rise for 2023, due to its weight in the index. Condominium prices fell by 1%, villa prices by 3.2%, and house prices by 0.1%.<\/p>\n

While the annual report of the General Authority for Statistics revealed that the commercial sector declined by 0.1%, affected by the decline in the prices of commercial plots by 0.1%, and exhibition prices by 1.3%, while the prices of commercial buildings and commercial centers stabilized and did not record significant relative changes during 2023.<\/p>\n

The census data also showed that agricultural sector prices in 2023 decreased by 0.3%, influenced by the decrease in prices of agricultural land plots by 0.3%.<\/p>\n

Real estate prices in the fourth quarter of 2023<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The real estate price index increased by 0.2% in the fourth quarter of 2023 year-on-year, influenced by a 0.6% increase in residential sector real estate prices, a 0.5% decrease in commercial sector real estate, and a 0.1% decrease in agricultural sector real estate.<\/p>\n

The report attributed the increase in Real estate prices<\/a><\/strong> In the residential sector, the price of residential plots increased by 0.7%, and given the heavy weight of the residential sector in the general index, it had a significant impact on the rise in the general index.<\/p>\n

During the fourth quarter of 2023, the report indicated that apartment prices increased by 0.1%, while condominium prices decreased by 0.9%, villas by 3.8%, and houses by 0.3%.<\/p>\n

Real estate prices fall in the commercial sector<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Real estate prices in the commercial sector declined by 0.5%, influenced by a 0.5% drop in commercial plot prices and a 0.9% drop in trade show prices.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the prices of commercial buildings and commercial centers stabilized in Q4 2023, recording no significant change, while the agricultural sector witnessed a decrease of 0.1%, as a result of a decrease in agricultural land prices by 0.1%.<\/p>\n
