Launched Saudi Contractors Authority<\/a> <\/strong>The 4th International Construction Conference, attended by His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs, and Housing, is being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center and will run from February 26 \u2013 27 February 2024, in conjunction with the Big5 Saudi exhibition, which is expected to attract more than 55,000 visitors.<\/p>\n

International Contracting Conference<\/strong><\/h4>\n

And it constitutes aInternational Construction Conference<\/a><\/strong> Now in its fourth edition, this comprehensive platform offers an opportunity to network with industry leaders and decision-makers, and a unique event in the Kingdom\u2019s construction sector, aimed at showcasing the latest technologies and equipment used in urban construction, highlighting the contribution of smart cities to improving quality of life, highlight the concept of sustainability and its impact on the environment, and discuss the latest construction technology practices with the participation of more than 25 local and international speakers representing over 40 countries, who will present the latest information, experiences, and technologies.<\/p>\n

Engineer Zakaria Al-Abdulqader, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, explained that the launch of the fourth edition of the International Construction Conference is inspired by the Kingdom\u2019s Vision 2030. He said: \u201cThe Kingdom is undergoing tremendous changes as part of its Vision 2030, and part of this change is the creation of a sustainable construction sector for the Kingdom.\u201d He noted that the Authority\u2019s mission is to regulate and develop the sector, enabling it to build specialized capabilities and raise production standards within the sector.<\/p>\n

The conference is aimed at project managers, interior designers, property owners in the public and private sectors, general contractors, architectural firms and suppliers, renewable energy companies, sustainable energy companies, future technology companies, engineering firms, law firms and insurance companies, heavy machinery and equipment suppliers, transportation and infrastructure companies, and developers.<\/p>\n

Launch of the Coalition Platform\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n

During the ceremony, the Minister of Municipal, Rural, and Housing Affairs launched the Alliance Platform to serve as a hub for contractors to conduct research and network with other contractors, with the aim of fostering a partnership between the two parties to complete projects in the best possible manner.<\/p>\n

The Alliance platform aims to facilitate access to qualified contractors and experts and to save time and resources in selecting the right contractor for a project. The platform also offers various types of alliances, including joint ventures, framework agreements, and unincorporated consortia.<\/p>\n
