Announced Red Sea International<\/a> <\/strong>The developer of the Red Sea and Red Sea destinations\u201cAmala<\/a><\/strong>\u201cIt announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Hyundai Motor Group to cooperate in providing innovative solutions for sustainable transportation in Red Sea International destinations, as well as exploring any future opportunities to provide innovative solutions in this sector.<\/p>\n

The memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Red Sea International CEO John Pagano and Hyundai Motor Group\u2019s Head of Future Expansion Strategy Dongkun Lee at the company\u2019s headquarters in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

According to the memorandum of understanding, both parties will explore all potential opportunities in several areas; the first phase of this cooperation will focus on ensuring that suitable sustainable transport solutions are found and integrated into all destinations.\u201cRed Sea International<\/a><\/strong>\u201dSuch as electric batteries and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, while the next phases will focus on exploring future transportation solutions such as autonomous vehicles, advanced air transport (AAM), and marine vessels.\u201d.<\/p>\n

John Pagano, CEO of the Red Sea International Group, said: \u201cHyundai Motor Group is a global leader in sustainable and luxury mobility, and through this collaboration and the integration of the latest technologies and environmentally friendly mobility solutions into our destinations, we continue our pursuit of setting new standards in operating sustainable destinations with no carbon footprint, while at the same time meeting the desires of our visitors for luxury tourism experiences based on responsible development.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The group\u2019s comprehensive portfolio of environmentally friendly businesses, ranging from individual mobility solutions to comprehensive freight infrastructure, offers a wide range of opportunities. Accordingly, this partnership is expected to support Saudi Vision 2030\u2019s strategy to achieve a net-zero emissions society by 2060, accelerating the Kingdom\u2019s transition to a green economy.<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that the Red Sea destination welcomed its first visitors last year, and the Red Sea International Airport has been receiving a regular schedule of domestic flights since September 2023. International flights are scheduled to begin soon. Two of the destination's resorts have also been opened, and three more are on track to open this year. A third destination, the Thuwal Private Resort, will also be opened this year. The Amaala destination is on track to welcome its first visitors in 2025, when the first resorts will be completed as part of the first phase of Triple Bay, along with Coralium and the World Yacht Club.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
