Hosted Neum<\/a><\/strong> More than 100 of the world\u2019s leading and largest contracting companies participated in a two-day forum, during which they reviewed the progress of construction work on their current projects, particularly \u201cThe Line\u201d and its infrastructure project \u201cThe Spine\u201d, \u201dOxagon\u201d, \u201dTrogena\u201d, and Neom International Airport, with a focus on future developments in them.<\/p>\n

The forum, which saw the participation of Saudi, Gulf, Asian, and European companies, in addition to companies from North America and North Africa, reviewed the importance of innovation in Construction and contracting sector<\/a><\/strong>He explained that traditional construction methods would not meet NEOM's standards and scope of work.<\/p>\n

The forum, held in Neom, featured a number of workshops and one-on-one meetings that discussed business opportunities, while participating contracting companies showcased their services and capabilities.<\/p>\n

The forum opened with a speech by NEOM CEO Nadhmi Al-Nasr, who said: \u201cAs we enter the most active phase of development ever, the scale of opportunities available in NEOM is enormous, and with the rapid progress of projects across our region, we are committed to collaborating with the best contractors in the world to achieve the NEOM vision.\u201d.<\/p>\n

As NEOM\u2019s projects enter the next phase of implementation, the demand for efficiency and mastery in construction at the highest levels is highlighted to implement some of the most daring development projects the world has ever seen, including the 170-kilometer-long \u201cThe Line\u201d city, whose model clusters are being built in phases, with the first phase welcoming its residents in 2030.<\/p>\n

The participants had a unique opportunity to learn about the many outstanding opportunities that NEOM will offer in the coming period. They also had the opportunity to visit NEOM project construction sites, where they witnessed the enormous scale of the work taking place, confirming that they had never seen development work of this scale anywhere else in the world.<\/p>\n

Construction work is ongoing throughout Neum<\/a><\/strong>With a workforce estimated at 140,000 workers in the construction sector, and with the help of a number of companies participating in the forum, the number of workers in NEOM is expected to reach 200,000 by next year.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
