It is the largest ambitious national plan for change, transforming dreams and hopes into a reality full of achievements and realization of targets.<br \/>\nCoinciding with the eighth year of the launch of the Kingdom's ambitious vision, the Saudi Vision 2030 Annual Report for 2023 highlights the performance of the vision realization programs in 2023, where 87% of the 1,064 initiatives for 2023 are complete or on track, while the key performance indicators for 2023 are estimated at 243 indicators, 81% of the third level performance indicators have achieved their targets, and 105 indicators have exceeded their future targets for 2024\/2025.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Historic increase in the number of pilgrims\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Kingdom recorded a historic increase in the number of pilgrims from abroad, reaching 13.56 million pilgrims, exceeding the 2023 target of 10 million, compared to the baseline of 6.2 million pilgrims, and the overall target of the vision is 30 million pilgrims, while the number of volunteers to serve the pilgrims reached more than 131 thousand volunteers, exceeding the annual target of 110 thousand volunteers.<br \/>\nThe number of Saudi heritage sites listed with UNESCO reached 7 sites, exceeding the estimated target of 6 sites for the year, compared to the baseline of 4 sites, and close to the 2030 target of 8 sites, and the last of these sites registered on the World Heritage List of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO); the \u201cArouq Bani Ma'arid\u201d reserve.<br \/>\nDue to the Kingdom's regional and international standing and the unlimited support of the wise leadership, the Kingdom won the bid to host Expo 2030 in Riyadh, after the world chose it in competition with the cities of Busan in South Korea and Rome in Italy, with 119 votes representing a majority.<br \/>\nIn the field of tourism, the number of visitors to the Kingdom reached 106 million, including 27.4 million international visitors, ranking second in terms of growth in international tourists.<br \/>\nTo achieve the goals of the Kingdom's vision to improve the quality of life, the actual value of the average life expectancy rate reached 78.10 years compared to the estimated baseline of 77.6 years, while the vision target is 80 years, and the percentage of population groups, including the periphery, covered by health services exceeded the 2023 target by 96.41%, where the target ratio reached 96%, compared to the estimated baseline of 84.13%. The visibility index is 99.5%.<br \/>\nFor adults who are physically active for 150 minutes per week, their proportion approached the overall vision target of 64%, achieving an actual value of 62.3% and exceeding the 2023 target of 51%, with the baseline estimated at 49%.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Housing recovery\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>The housing sector achieved many figures aimed at enhancing the availability of housing options for different segments of society, as 66,000 Saudi families received their homes, more than 24,000 housing units were launched until the end of August, and the homeownership rate reached 63.74%, achieving the 2023 target of 63%, compared to the baseline of 47%, and the overall target of the vision is 70%.<br \/>\nMore than 96,000 citizens benefited from housing support services for housing products, and the total financial support for the beneficiaries was estimated at SAR 4.1 billion, while the percentage of beneficiaries of financial subsidies who are able to work and empowered exceeded the year's target of 32% with an actual value of 32.3% compared to the baseline of 1%, thus separating it from the vision target by 6%.<br \/>\nOn the economic North Africa with a growth of 10%, while its contribution to GDP rose to 3.8%.<br \/>\nJob localization expanded to 14 occupations in the logistics sector, and ICT occupations recorded a localization rate of 65%.<br \/>\nAs part of the efforts to enable employment, the number of jobs in the ICT sector reached 354,000 jobs, the culture sector included more than 216,000 employees, while the number of jobs in the tourism sector reached 913,000 jobs, and more than 49,000 job opportunities were made available to Saudi social security beneficiaries.<br \/>\nThe 2023 sales volume index for productive families supported by the Social Development Bank (SDB) rose to more than SAR 15 billion, exceeding its target of more than SAR 14 billion.<br \/>\nIn the health field, as part of enhancing and raising the efficiency of health services to facilitate the beneficiaries\u201c experience, more than 30 million beneficiaries benefited from the \u201dMy Health\u201c application, and the \u201dDoctor per Family\" service was launched to provide health, preventive and therapeutic care, where 20 million beneficiaries were linked to a medical team per family, and the Nafis platform was attractive investment environment, the Kingdom has developed 50 industrial investment opportunities worth more than SAR 96 billion, foreign and joint investments in the industrial sector accounted for 37% of the total sector investments until May 2023, worth more than SAR 542 billion, and more than 200 international companies moved their regional headquarters to the capital, Riyadh.<br \/>\nNon-oil government revenues amounted to SAR 457 billion, compared to the baseline of SAR 166 billion and the vision target of SAR 1,000 billion, and contributed to covering 35% of the total budget recorded through the National Platform for Volunteerism, more than 528,000 volunteering opportunities were created, and more than one million volunteers were registered on the platform, contributing to more than 30 volunteer fields.<br \/>\nThe non-profit sector contributed 0.87% to GDP, compared to a baseline of 0.2%, exceeding the year's target of 0.51% and the vision target of 5%.<br \/>\nThe ratio of nonprofit sector workers to the total labor force was 0.55%, compared to the baseline of 0.13%, exceeding the year's target of 0.39% and the vision target of 3.1%.<br \/>\nIn the environmental field and to combat climate change issues, and as part of the Green Saudi initiative, the Kingdom has made tangible progress in its sustainable environmental initiatives to be a successful launch towards a green era and a more sustainable tomorrow.
