Joined Rushen Group<\/a><\/strong> \u2014The Kingdom\u2019s most trusted national real estate developer\u2014has joined the ranks of the Kingdom\u2019s leading sustainability pioneers after signing the \u201cSustainability Pioneers\u201d program charter on the sidelines of its participation in the World Economic Forum.<\/p>\n

Led by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the program aims to accelerate the adoption of sustainability best practices by the Kingdom\u2019s business sector by selecting sustainability leaders who will, in turn, serve as catalysts and supporters for at least three other companies in their respective industries.<\/p>\n

Under this agreement, the \u201cRoshon\u201d Group will collaborate with several Saudi companies over a 24-month period to exchange ideas, resources, and training in the field of sustainability, with the aim of accelerating these companies\u2019 ability to adopt sustainability concepts and prepare related reports.<\/p>\n

Developing Sustainability Strategies<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

Under this charter, the \u201cRushen<\/a><\/strong>\u201dPractical guidance on developing sustainability strategies and initiatives through capacity-building sessions and periodic reviews of the progress made by participating companies.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The \u201cSustainability Pioneers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia\u201d program represents an important step toward strengthening the efforts of sustainability pioneers through the exchange of knowledge and scientific guidance, with the aim of making the Kingdom\u2019s economy more resilient and efficient by adopting best practices in sustainability across various sectors and supply chains.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Dr. Khalid Jowhar, Acting CEO of the Roshen Group, said: \u201cIn line with our approach to design and development, sustainability is one of our key corporate values and an integral part of Roshen\u2019s identity.\u201d.<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cWe believe that implementing sustainability principles is not an option but a responsibility that falls on us; therefore, we strive to provide guidance and advice to other companies on their journey toward implementing sustainability principles, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.\u201d.<\/p>\n

He commended the Ministry of Economy and Planning for this initiative and for selecting Rushen<\/a> \u201dOne of the Kingdom's earliest pioneers in sustainability.\".<\/p>\n

It is worth noting that \u201cRoshon,\u201d through its mission to develop people-centered destinations and communities, has strived to apply the highest standards of sustainability in all its operations and projects, including optimizing energy and water consumption, managing materials and waste, and optimizing transportation and communications\u2014all to ensure the well-being of the community.<\/p>\n
