Announced Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a><\/strong>... announced today, Tuesday, the issuance of Regulations Governing the Sale and Lease of Real Estate Projects <\/span><\/a><\/strong>On the map<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Real Estate Authority also announced that it has begun accepting applications for off-plan project licenses through its online platform, in accordance with the Regulation on the Sale and Lease of Off-Plan Real Estate Projects, issued by Cabinet Decision No. 196 dated 1445 \/ 03\/04 1445 AH and its approved implementing regulations, which are published on the Authority\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

The Authority stated that licensing the sale and leasing of off-plan properties helps regulate the industry, reduce violations in the off-plan real estate development sector, and increase the supply of commercial, residential, industrial, tourism, and other real estate products.<\/p>\n

She added that the system serves as one of the financing channels for real estate developers and a key enabler for the real estate market, enhancing the sector\u2019s credibility through the governance mechanisms it ensures. She called on all real estate developers wishing to benefit from the system to apply for qualification \u2014if they are not already qualified\u2014and to obtain the necessary licenses to conduct business through the online platform designated to receive qualification and licensing applications for off-plan projects of all types and forms.<\/p>\n

According to the licensing requirements, the applicant must pass the qualification program approved by the Authority and submit a feasibility study of the project, including the estimated financial, construction, and marketing data of the project, the expected financial and administrative expenses, the duration of delivery of units and the expected sources of financing, and provide evidence of the real estate project's compliance with the statutory requirements for building permits, engineering plans, and architectural designs.<\/p>\n
