Issued Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/strong> 54 new industrial licenses were issued during March 2024, distributed among a number of industrial activities, led by the manufacture of non-metallic mineral products with 9 licenses, followed by the manufacture of food products with 8 licenses, and the manufacture of fabricated metal products with 7 licenses, while the manufacture of chemicals and the manufacture of paper and paper products recorded 6 licenses each.<\/p>\n

The report issued by the Ministry's National Center for Industrial and Mining Information (NCIMI) showed that the total number of Industrial licenses<\/a><\/strong>The number of licenses issued by the ministry since the beginning of this year until the end of March amounted to 324, while the number of existing and under construction factories in the Kingdom reached 11,832 by the end of the same month, with an investment volume of 1.528 trillion riyals.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the volume of investments in new licenses for the month of March amounted to SAR 1,047 billion, and small enterprises accounted for most of the new industrial licenses during the same month with 77.781 TP3T, followed by medium enterprises with 22.221 TP3T, while national factories recorded 22.221 TP3T.
\nThe largest percentage of the total licenses issued by type of investment with 98.15%, followed by foreign establishments with 1.85%.The report of the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information showed that the factories that started production during the month of March amounted to 69 factories, with an investment volume of 1,339 billion riyals, led by food products factories with 12 factories, followed by chemical and chemical products factories with 8 factories, rubber and plastic products factories, and non-metallic mineral products factories with 7 factories each, then paper and paper products factories with 6 factories, while national factories accounted for the total number of factories that started production with 86.961 TP3T by type of investment, followed by foreign-invested factories with 8.701 TP3T and joint venture factories with 4.351 TP3T. The report pointed out that the new industrial licenses were distributed among 8 administrative regions, led by the Eastern Province with 20 factories, followed by the Riyadh region with 19 factories, the Makkah region with 6 factories, the Qassim region with 3 factories, Jizan and Madinah regions with 2 factories each, then Al-Jouf region and Al-Baha region with 1 factory each.<\/p>\n
