href=\"https:\/\/tanmawi.housing.sa\/\"> Developmental Housing Program<\/a><\/strong>and the categories that can benefit from the program.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Shammari said in a tweet posted on his page on the social media platform \u201cX\u201d that the categories eligible to receive a free apartment from the development housing program are divorced, widowed, unemployed and low-income people.<\/p>\n<p>He added that these groups can register and apply for a free apartment by following the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Register on the Ministry of Housing website from here (Development Housing Program from here).<\/li>\n<li>Register for Social Security here.<\/li>\n<li>Register in one of the Ministry of Housing approved associations located in the area.<\/li>\n<li>Availability of an electronic lease.<\/li>\n<li>Lack of a registered property in the beneficiary's name.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the beneficiary's name is on the waiting list of one of units for deserving and needy families who are registered in the housing support portal, through integration and partnership with civil societies and institutions located in all cities and governorates of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The housing program was launched in 2018, and from the beginning it focused on increasing the supply of housing products with high quality and affordable prices in a short time to make the Kingdom one of the first countries in the world to have a clear strategy in national housing and a specific goal for home ownership.<\/p>\n<p>The program transformed the housing sector by regulating the real estate market, expanding access to financing, simplifying regulations, offering a variety of options to suit different needs, and increasing the supply in the market, which paved the way for achieving one of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, raising the rate of household ownership to 70% by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>More than one million Saudi families have benefited from the\u201c<a title=\"Sakani\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vision2030.gov.sa\/ar\/explore-more\/sakani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Residential<\/a>\u201dThe
