Imposing the punishment is not considered a substitute for removal or correction.<\/p>\n<p>The regulations stipulate a penalty of 10,000 riyals for the owner when carrying out construction work without contracting with an accredited or licensed supervising engineering office from the relevant authority to practice supervision work or the related authority. Work will also be stopped until a contract is made with an accredited or licensed engineering office, supervisor, or contractor from the relevant authority.<\/p>\n<p>The regulations also stipulate a penalty of 10,000 riyals for the owner when construction work is carried out without contracting with a contractor approved or licensed by the authority concerned with practicing construction activities or the relevant authority.
