held Rushen Group<\/a><\/strong> \u2014one of the projects wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund\u2014has launched its first training camp aimed at empowering contractors, subcontractors, and project managers from small and medium-sized enterprises by providing them with valuable opportunities to develop their capabilities in the construction sector.<\/p>\n

This event, which saw the participation of numerous local companies, highlighted \u201cRoshon\u2019s\u201d approach to increasing the number of local contractors and strengthening their capabilities in the Kingdom, as well as contributing to the diversification of the national economy.<\/p>\n

Helping Contractors Acquire Essential Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The training camp was designed to help contractors acquire essential skills in construction cost management, thereby enhancing their competitiveness and enabling them to make sound financial decisions.<\/p>\n

Participants in this first session learned how to develop accurate cost estimates using effective methods and advanced software tools, as well as implementing sound strategies for cost control during project execution, mitigating cost risks, managing changes, and increasing profitability through improved financial management, cash flow forecasting, and value engineering.<\/p>\n

The training camp hosted a series of interactive sessions led by a select group of international experts in their respective fields, who shared their diverse experiences and cutting-edge insights, The event was enriched by valuable contributions from Dean Fory, Certified Manager and Head of Real Estate at Turner & Townsend; Charlie Shepard, Director of Construction Cost Consulting; Malonangelo Masumi, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), and Oweis Haroun, Assistant General Manager, as well as prominent leaders from Roshen\u2019s Commercial Affairs and Procurement departments.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
