His Excellency the Minister of Municipal Affairs, Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah, inspected the project. Al-Haqeel<\/a><\/strong>Yesterday, during his visit to Al-Taif Governorate, work on a number of development projects overseen by the Governorate Secretariat was underway, to follow up on the latest developments in several municipal and residential projects.<\/p>\n

Minister Alhakil met with the Secretary of Taif, Engineer Abdullah bin Khamis Al-Zayed, and the leadership and officials of the Governorate Secretariat, where he reviewed the strategic transformation plans, municipal targets and indicators, as well as the achievements and challenges of development projects, urban development plans, housing plans, and urban sustainability in the governorate.<\/p>\n

His Excellency reviewed the achievements achieved in projects to address visual distortion, prevent flood hazards and manage rainwater, as well as projects for paving and lighting roads and public gardens. He also reviewed the most important achievements and targets to achieve integration with the private sector and increase their participation in enhancing the services provided and taking advantage of investment opportunities in the governorate.<\/p>\n

He discussed the progress of projects to enhance infrastructure and development initiatives, as well as the urban development system within the \u201cEnhancing the City\u201d program, in addition to the development plans to enhance the quality of municipal services provided to residents. He also reviewed operational performance indicators, current challenges and ways to address them, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to improve the quality of services by creating and developing infrastructure and improving the urban landscape to enhance the experience of citizens, visitors and tourists.<\/p>\n

The Minister met Al-Haqeel<\/a><\/strong> With many investors and businessmen at the Arfad Park in Al-Taif governorate, the meeting discussed the investment opportunities provided by the Ministry in the municipal and residential sectors within development programs and initiatives aimed at achieving the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030, noting the facilities provided by the Ministry to investors to stimulate investment in the sector.<\/p>\n

The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Rural Affairs and Housing met during his visit to the governorate Taif<\/a><\/strong> With His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Taif, discussions were held on municipal projects and initiatives aimed at humanizing the city, enhancing the quality of life for residents, and enriching the experience of visitors and tourists. Economic incentives were also discussed to contribute to creating new investment opportunities and taking advantage of the quality advantages of Taif governorate to support the development, economic, and tourism dynamics, and to improve the business environment.<\/p>\n

Following his meeting with the Governor of Ta\u2019if, at the governorate headquarters, His Excellency witnessed the signing of several memorandums of understanding between the Ta\u2019if Secretariat and several investment companies to establish a number of commercial, tourism, environmental, and service facilities, as well as the signing of a number of community partnerships between third-sector institutions.<\/p>\n
