The annual report released by \u201cHousing program<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u201cMore than 96,000 eligible families have benefited from housing support through the program\u2019s contribution toward housing costs, in addition to serving more than 20,000 families through homeownership pathways under the Developmental Housing Program.\u201d.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In a report titled \u201cWe Empower You to Own Your Home,\u201d the program confirmed that the percentage of Saudi households owning a residential unit reached 63.74% by the end of 2023, representing an increase of 16.7 percentage points compared to 2016. <\/span>The report noted that the homeownership rate among Saudi households exceeded the target for that year, which was 63%.<\/div>\n

The program explained that the number of Signed Contracts<\/a><\/strong> The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing issued more than 26,000 land contracts, including 11,000 contracts during the fourth quarter of 2023; with the aim of improving housing affordability and achieving the strategic objective of the housing program by enabling Saudi families to own suitable homes.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The report covered the latest developments in the implementation and construction of a number of initiatives. The program approved more than 800 plans and issued more than 3,000 building permits, and 10,000 housing units were provided to beneficiaries of the developmental housing program, and the number of contracts signed for off-plan sales reached 10,904.<\/span><\/div>\n
