A number of tenants complained about the high Rental prices<\/a> <\/strong>in the city of Riyadh, expressing their fears that the increase will continue, according to a report published by Al Arabiya. According to Al Arabiya, the city of Riyadh is still recording a significant rise in Rental prices<\/a><\/strong> apartments and residences, amid fears that they will continue to do so in the coming period.<\/p>\n

During his interview on Al-Arabiya, a tenant said that current rents are high compared to last year and vary from one area to another. He added that most of the landlords' arguments for raising the prices of rental values are unjustified, noting that some link the price hike to the construction of a group of projects nearby or compared to other tenants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Another said that renting is done according to the market, explaining that rents are rising in the north of the Kingdom, especially with the increase in population and the high demand for rentals.<\/p>\n

One tenant said that rents have increased compared to the past two years, while a landlord attributed the increase to the increase in population and businesses and the increase in demand for rents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Omar Al Awlaki, CEO of Satel Real Estate, said that there are 3 main factors for the rise in Rentals<\/a> <\/strong>These are the entry of large categories of tenants from outside the Kingdom, companies and landlords developing their projects and services, as well as arbitrary rental value increases in the market.<\/p>\n
