Announced Ministry of Municipalities and Housing<\/a><\/strong>Yesterday, the Ministry, represented by the Ministry of Defense, announced the signing of nine partnership agreements and memorandums of cooperation between the Developmental housing<\/a><\/strong> Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, will renovate and furnish 200 homes for needy families in 7 regions of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The agreements were signed by Undersecretary of the Ministry for Development Housing Talal bin Mohammed Alkhenini, Acting Executive Director of Roshan Group Dr. Khalid Jawhar, and Chairman of Tarmeem Association Engineer Mohammed Thawab Al Khalidi, in the presence of a number of ministry officials and representatives of Roshan Group and housing restoration associations.<\/p>\n

The agreements come within the framework of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing's interest in strengthening partnerships and integrating efforts between the Developmental housing<\/a><\/strong> and the private and non-profit sectors, to enable the neediest families to obtain adequate housing and increase the rate of home ownership for the beneficiaries of development housing services, in order to achieve the targets of the Housing Program - one of the Vision 2030 programs - by raising the ownership rate to 70%.<\/p>\n

The agreements included the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry's Agency for Development Housing and Taramim Association, under which the association will be accredited as a house of expertise by the Ministry, and empowering associations specialized in restoration and housing that have a pathway for restoration services at the Kingdom level by providing them with the restoration system, guides and policies, as the agreement targets the restoration of 100 homes in 7 regions of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

ROSHN Group signed a community partnership agreement with Tarmeem Association to cover the costs of renovating and furnishing 100 homes of the neediest families, as part of ROSHN Group's social responsibility program \u201cYahyaik\u201d, in addition to joint cooperation to work on raising the quality of renovation and furnishing and rationalizing costs.<\/p>\n

Tarmeem Association signed 6 other cooperation agreements with (Tarmeem Association for Development in Makkah, Al-Umran and Development Association in Al-Baha, Lodge Association in the Northern Borders, Manazel Association in Asir, Hail Association for Charitable Housing, and Tarmeem and Arbat Association in Madinah) to renovate and furnish 175 houses with 25 houses in each region.<\/p>\n

According to the agreements, the restoration associations in the regions will identify the houses eligible for restoration, evacuate them from families and property to start restoration operations, in addition to providing alternative housing for the beneficiary families before starting the project, while the Restoration Association will undertake the restoration and furnishing projects for the houses and pay the costs of the contracts.<\/p>\n

Through these agreements, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing aims to support and empower restoration associations and housing associations that have a restoration service pathway at the Kingdom level, and activate the community partnership between the private and non-profit sectors to restore and furnish the homes of families in need, with the aim of achieving family stability and providing them with adequate housing.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
