{"id":69132,"date":"2024-09-18T21:50:59","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T18:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=69132"},"modified":"2025-11-26T01:47:50","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T01:47:50","slug":"%d9%88%d8%b2%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b5%d9%86%d8%a7%d8%b9%d8%a9-%d8%aa%d8%b5%d8%af%d8%b1-32-%d8%b1%d8%ae%d8%b5%d8%a9-%d8%aa%d8%b9%d8%af%d9%8a%d9%86%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d8%ac%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%af%d8%a9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/69132\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Industry issues 32 new mining licenses during July 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Issued <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mim.gov.sa\/mim\/\">Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources<\/a><\/strong> 32 new mining licenses were issued in July, including 16 exploration licenses, 10 construction quarry licenses, 3 surplus ore licenses, 3 mining exploitation licenses and a small mine, according to the ministry's National Industrial and Mining Information Center (NIMIC).<\/p>\n<p>According to Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources spokesperson Jarrah bin Mohammed Al-Jarrah, the total number of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/67125\/\">Mining licenses<\/a> <\/strong>As of the end of July, there were 2,281 licenses in force in the sector, led by building materials quarry licenses with 1,463 licenses, followed by exploration licenses with 556 licenses, mining and small mines with 201 licenses, reconnaissance licenses with 41 licenses, and surplus mineral ores licenses with 20 licenses.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Jarrah explained that the<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/66668\/\"> Mining investment<\/a><\/strong> The executive regulations define six types of mining licenses, including: A reconnaissance license, which includes all types of minerals for a period of two years that can be extended, a discovery license for all types of minerals for a period of 5 years for minerals of categories A and B, a license for category C minerals for a period of one year, and a general purpose license linked to the mining license or small mine.<\/p>\n<p>The law also defines the exploitation licenses, which include: Class A and B mineral mining license, whose license period does not exceed 30 years, subject to renewal or extension;
