These changes came according to the GASTAT's Average Prices of Goods and Services Bulletin, which provides a comprehensive picture of price movements in the construction sector during the month.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Cement prices rise<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The bulletin showed that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/62032\/\">Cement prices<\/a><\/strong> Black cement (50 kg) saw a rise of 0.4% month-on-month, bringing its price to SR15.86 per bag. The rise comes amid increased demand for black cement, which is mainly used in construction, reflecting the ongoing growth in the Kingdom's construction sector.<\/p>\n<p>The price of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/68116\/\">Cement<\/a><\/strong> White cement increased slightly by 0.03% to reach SR38.05 per bag during August. White cement is mostly used in finishes and decorations, making its price increase limited compared to black cement.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Falling concrete prices<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In contrast, the data showed a clear drop in concrete prices during the month. The price of concrete (350K resistant) decreased by 1.5% to reach SR215.87 per cubic meter, while the price of concrete (350K resistant) decreased by 1.3% to reach SR197.39 per cubic meter. Sand is used in many different construction applications, from foundations to finishes.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Block price changes<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Black block prices recorded a slight decline during August. The price of 15-centimeter black block decreased by 0.2% to 1703.27 riyals (1000 grains). The price of 20-centimeter black block decreased by 0.4% to 1749.28 riyals.<\/p>\n<p>Black block is one of the basic materials in construction, as it is widely used in the construction of internal and external walls, and these price decreases come amid a noticeable improvement in production and distribution processes, in addition to the decline in transportation and raw material costs.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Analyzing prices in the building materials market<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Experts in the construction sector suggest that the decline in concrete prices could be the result of improved supply chains and lower costs for raw materials used in the manufacture of concrete, in addition to a decrease in demand for some large construction projects during the month. The decline reflects the trends in the construction market, which is constantly changing due to multiple economic factors, including global price fluctuations and urban development.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the decline in concrete prices, the rise in cement prices reflects an ongoing demand for this vital product.
