I declare Public Investment Fund<\/a><\/strong> Smart Residences for Residential Complexes (SARC), a real estate development and operation company for residential complexes for all categories of workers in major construction and development projects in the Kingdom, was established today to meet the growing demand for residential solutions for workers and provide its services to public and private projects across the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Sark will play an influential role in the development of the sector in the Kingdom, by investing in the sector and constructing and operating housing complexes for various categories of workers. Through its investments, the company will enhance the standards of workers' housing by developing and operating projects at levels consistent with international standards issued by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - part of the World Bank. SARC will strengthen the role of the private sector by enabling investment and partnerships across the entire value chain of the sector, including service providers in areas such as construction, catering, transportation and retail.<\/p>\n

The company will contribute to attracting talent and partnerships to various sectors in the Kingdom, including major construction projects, by providing quality and modernized residences with the best amenities, facilities and services for work teams.<\/p>\n

The co-manager of the real estate portfolio at Public Investment Fund<\/a> <\/strong>Khalid Gohar, \"Worker housing complexes represent an important opportunity, given the level of demand that far exceeds the supply in the local market, and SARK will contribute to meeting the requirements for residential solutions in the Kingdom, providing more business opportunities for the private sector, and as we witness the increasing growth of construction projects across the Kingdom, the Fund continues its role in driving transformation and development efforts in basic infrastructure.<\/p>\n
