Discuss Future Investment Initiative Conference<\/a><\/strong> In its eighth edition, during a panel discussion titled \u201cThe Economics of Geopolitics,\u201d the importance of investing in economies and development projects, establishing laws and regulations that attract international investors, and leveraging modern technologies to achieve growth and prosperity.<\/p>\n

The session was attended by His Excellency Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Aramco, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Investment Initiative, Moderna CEO St\u00e9phane Bancel; Hong Kong Stock Exchange Chair Laura Cha; BlackRock CEO Laurence Fink; Citadel founder Kenneth Griffin; Sanofi CEO Paul Hudson; former HSBC Group CEO Noel Quinn; Alphabet Chief Investment Officer Ruth Porat, Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, and The Black Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman.<\/p>\n

His Excellency Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Aramco, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Future Investment Initiative, emphasized during his participation in the session, that the Fund is focused on the Saudi economy, which is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world and is expected to remain among the fastest-growing economies within the G20 over the coming years, with growth rates continuing to rise.<\/p>\n

His Excellency stated that, over the past few years, the Public Investment Fund has established numerous investment partnerships with global companies and has launched 95 new companies at the local level, such as NEOM, the Red Sea, Al-Qiddiya, Al-Alaat, and others, These represent major investors in key sectors that did not previously exist in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

He noted that the fund has invested in the field of artificial intelligence, capitalizing on the Kingdom\u2019s capabilities that position it to be a global\u2014rather than merely a regional\u2014hub for artificial intelligence, and discussed the fund\u2019s investments in the sports sector.<\/p>\n

Participants in the session discussed the importance of working in the banking sector and in reserve funds, noting that successful businesses around the world require various technologies and good, motivating salaries for employees, noting that financial technology helps companies\u2014including banks\u2014increase profitability and efficiency, given the technological advancements that contribute to the success of private-sector companies and support their economic development and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

The participants highlighted the importance of education, noting the importance of using artificial intelligence to make certain investment decisions. They also discussed the global trend among asset management companies worldwide, noting that the primary focus now is on the amount of capital required to achieve digitalization and reduce carbon emissions.<\/p>\n

Participants noted the aging of populations, driven by patient-centered healthcare systems and a focus on preventive care, through the use of technology to detect these diseases early, with the goal of achieving healthy communities where older adults are in good health.<\/p>\n

The participants emphasized that the manufacturing capacity for vaccines and medications is extremely important, noting the close cooperation between pharmaceutical companies and public relations distribution firms, and stressing the importance of getting vaccinated\u2014especially during certain seasons and pandemics\u2014to prevent disease.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
