At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the agenda for its seventh regular session and took the necessary decisions regarding the items listed therein.<\/p>\n<p>The Council issued a resolution approving an amendment to the enforcement regulations <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/70025\/\">Saudi Building Code<\/a><\/strong>, issued by Royal Decree No. (M\/43) dated 26\/4\/1438 AH, which amended the definition of \u201dthe National Committee\u201d contained in Article (1) to read as follows: \u201cthe Center\u201d: \u201dThe Saudi Building Code Center.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution also included approval to amend the phrase \u201cThe National Committee shall\u201d to read \u201cThe Center shall,\u201d and the phrase \u201cthe Minister of Commerce and Investment, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization\u201d to read \u201cthe Minister of Municipalities and Housing,\u201d in Article (Fifteen), The Council made its decision after hearing a report presented by the Council\u2019s Hajj, Housing, and Services Committee, which was read by Council member and Committee Chair Dr. Atiya Al-Atwi, regarding the establishment of the Saudi Building Code Center.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minute<\/span><\/span>The Shura Council held on Tuesday its seventh regular session of the first year of the ninth session under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Speaker of the Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, at the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the agenda of its seventh regular session and the items included therein.
