His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Amir of the Medina Region, affirmed that the launch of the \u201cSunset Destination\u201d project represents one of the prominent signs of the rapid development witnessed by the real estate sector in the Kingdom, thanks to the unlimited support provided by the government of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman\u2014may Allah protect them\u2014, this came during His Royal Highness\u2019s inauguration of the \u201cSunset Destination,\u201d the newest destination NHC<\/a><\/strong>In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Alhakil, and His Excellency the Area Secretary, Engineer Fahd bin Muhammad Alblishy.<\/p>\n

His Highness Prince Salman bin Sultan pointed out that the project embodies a part of the wise leadership\u2019s keenness \u2013 may God support it \u2013 to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom\u2019s Vision 2030, and to enhance the quality of life by creating sustainable urban environments that meet the aspirations of the population, while preserving the cultural and heritage identity associated with Madinah.<\/p>\n

His Highness expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Alhakil for his concrete efforts in developing the real estate sector and his continuous support for quality initiatives and projects, and His Highness also praised the role of NHC<\/a> <\/strong>And its partners from the developers provide distinctive housing options to serve the residents of Medina and their visitors.
\nDuring the ceremony, NHC CEO Mohamed bin Saleh al-Bati delivered a speech in which he reviewed the company\u2019s achievements in the real estate development sector, explaining that the company has launched 39 projects in 17 cities across the Kingdom with a total value of 92 billion riyals.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that these projects serve more than one million people, with 88,000 units of housing having been sold so far, housing more than 50,000 Saudi families. He added that the company aims to raise the percentage of home ownership in the Kingdom to 70% by 2030, and the percentage has currently reached 63%. He also confirmed that NHC aims to provide 300,000 housing units by 2025.<\/p>\n

Bati explained that the company is working on innovation and expanding its portfolio of projects, managing 10 digital real estate platforms serving 20 million customers and accounting for 70% of real estate transactions in the Kingdom. Additionally, the company seeks to strengthen its strategic partnerships to attract foreign investments, which will contribute to supporting the national economy and achieving the Saudi Vision 2030.<\/p>\n

Following this, the audience watched a visual presentation about the \u201cDestination Sunset\u201d project, which covers an area exceeding 4 million square meters and provides more than 6,000 residential units with modern designs inspired by the architectural style of Medina, enhancing the sense of belonging and comfort for its residents. The destination boasts its strategic location west of Medina on King Khalid Road (the Third Ring Road).<\/p>\n

The presentation also included an explanation of the components of the destination, which include a vibrant environment with green spaces and gardens covering an area of over 450,000 square meters, providing social and recreational spaces, in addition to various facilities including 17 mosques, 16 schools, 27 service and commercial centers, providing families with an integrated and vibrant residential experience.<\/p>\n

At the end of the ceremony, His Highness the Amir of the Medina Region presided over the signing of several real estate development agreements between NHC and investment companies, including Innovative Real Estate Investments, Al-Inbatah for Contracting, Arab Precursor of Trade and Contracting, Talad Real Estate, and Maskan Industrial, to develop five projects in the \u201cDestination Sunset\u201d phase, in accordance with the highest standards of quality and sustainability.<\/p>\n

The agreements also included the signing of a partnership with the Al-Athim Investment Group to develop the \u201cDar Oasis\u201d project, which will provide commercial facilities covering an area of over 65,000 square meters, and another agreement with the Babilin Company to implement a power conversion project with the power transmission lines that will supply it, to meet the full electrical needs of the destination.<\/p>\n
