Therefore, the physical form of architecture and the aesthetics of the place are two essential components that make the place distinguishable, and they also generate a sense of place, which constitutes a point of attraction for the tourist. There is an innate relationship between humans and architectural buildings and the environment that contains these buildings, which is often an informal invitation for the tourist to visit this place. Thus, the role of architecture in economic development is linked through its impact on tourism and all that is associated with it in terms of economic, cultural and political components, as this role is reflected in providing broad direct and indirect job opportunities and a factor of incentive for investment and development of the local economy, which is reflected positively on the individual\u2019s income.<\/p>\n Studies indicate that many countries rely more on tourism revenues than natural resource revenues for their economic development. To simplify the concept of the role of architecture in sustainable tourism development, as described by the World Tourism Organization, the guidelines for sustainable development and sustainable tourism management practices apply to all forms of tourism in all destinations, including mass tourism and various other tourism patterns. Sustainable tourism is characterized by its long-term vision regarding its development and its various impacts, for example, social, cultural, and economic, etc., on host communities. Sustainable tourism also requires the active participation of many stakeholders in order to achieve all the desired goals.<\/p>\n In mentioning these goals, I cannot help but cite the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect him, \u201cVision 2030,\u201d which has become a living example to be emulated globally in adopting and studying ideas, then implementing them swiftly and accurately on the ground with utmost professionalism, making it truly \u201cimpressive to the listener before the viewer.\u201d Among these goals is the \u201cDiriyah Gate\u201d project, a vital cultural and tourism project established by King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him, in 2019. This project aims to restore ancient heritage buildings, some over 600 years old, across a total area of 1,500,000 square meters. Which includes the largest Islamic museum in the world, and includes an integrated mud city, which is a unique architectural masterpiece that reflects the heritage, culture and heritage of the authentic Saudi people. The follower of the news of this unique architectural monument will see the precision and complete commitment to its completion under the supervision and follow-up of His Highness.
