Messi, the current Inter Miami player and former Barcelona striker, is the chairman of Edificio Rostaur Soutime, according to documents published by Portfolio Stock Exchange, a European stock exchange under the supervision of the Bank of Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2013, the company owns properties in Spain and Andorra, including seven hotels, 3 office spaces, and five apartments, as well as properties in London and Paris. However, the company recorded a loss of \u20ac1.7 million in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>According to the records, most of the company's investments are in Spain's Catalonia region, where Messi moved in 2000 to join Barcelona's youth teams, and settled there until 2021 when he abruptly left the club to join Paris Saint-Germain after Barcelona announced that it could not afford to extend his contract due to the debt crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Messi, an eight-time Ballon d'Or winner, previously announced that he plans to return to Barcelona with his family after his retirement.
