Announced today Arcapita Group Holdings<\/a><\/strong> Ltd (\u201cArcapita\u201d), a global alternative investment management company, has announced a strategic partnership with DSV, a leading global logistics company, to develop a logistics center in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA). The project spans 30,000 square meters and is currently being developed with advanced technical specifications. This project opens new horizons for collaboration between Arcapita and DSV with a focus on sustainability and innovation. Amana Group, a regional leader in the design and construction of industrial and commercial facilities, officially began construction during a special inauguration ceremony. Utilizing modular construction techniques and digital design, Amana aims to deliver a high-quality, eco-friendly facility within 11 months.<\/p>\n

The center is designed according to the highest international standards based on sustainability and innovation, and includes advanced automation systems, energy efficiency certification according to the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) system, as its construction meets all environmental preservation requirements, with optimal specifications To support key sectors including healthcare, FMCG, retail, technology, automotive, and industrial derivatives, with a capacity of 75,000 pallets, a dedicated area for handling hazardous materials, such as lithium batteries, as well as a large covered outdoor storage area. In addition, the logistics center will provide specialized services with the utmost care while handling sensitive and high-value consignments, especially healthcare products and luxury goods.<\/p>\n

This logistics center represents the second phase of a strategic partnership between Arcapita and DSV based on strong collaboration and a shared vision for innovation in the logistics sector. The center is being built in the southern part of DSV's complex in Jebel Ali Free Zone, strengthening DSV's presence in Dubai, which is an important and essential regional hub for global trade.<\/p>\n

Arcapita's investment in this project in Jebel Ali is part of Arcapita's overall strategy to grow its real estate portfolio across the GCC.
