Planning Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a> <\/strong>to increase the number of Real estate technology<\/a> <\/strong>from 270 to 1,500 companies over the next five years, according to Taysir Al-Mafraj, the authority's spokesperson.<\/p>\n

As part of supporting entrepreneurs and startups, Al Mufaraj explained that the authority will announce within hours that the period for receiving applications to join the pilot regulatory environment will be extended for an additional two months, giving companies more time to take advantage of this initiative.<\/p>\n

This decision follows the program\u2019s initial announcement during the World Real Estate Technology Summit last October, as the Authority seeks to foster a supportive environment for the development of real estate technology solutions \u201cPropTech,\u201d thereby contributing to innovation in the Kingdom\u2019s second-largest economic sector after oil.<\/p>\n

Programs and Initiatives to Support Startups<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

During the Future of Real Estate Forum held in Riyadh, Al-Mufarraj confirmed that the Authority is working to launch and implement innovative programs to empower real estate technology companies, including:<\/p>\n

Experimental Regulatory Environment: A platform for testing technology projects and their compliance with regulations.
\nReal Estate Tech Accelerator: Provides guidance and support to startups.
\n\u201cProptec\u201d Board: Brings together investors and experts to foster collaboration and expansion.
\nGlobal Real Estate Technology Summit: To highlight the achievements of Saudi companies both domestically and internationally.<\/p>\n

Technology in Real Estate<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Al-Mufarraj explained that modern technologies such as artificial intelligence and data analytics play a vital role in facilitating purchasing and leasing decisions, in addition to off-plan sales, real estate marketing, and flexible office space leasing.<\/p>\n

He also noted that the Authority\u2019s efforts are aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 by supporting innovation and providing an attractive regulatory environment, which boosts investment and positions the Kingdom as a leading regional hub for real estate technology.<\/p>\n

The Authority launched the Real Estate Technology Business Accelerator in collaboration with the National Information Technology Development Program and STARTUP WISE GUYS to accelerate the growth of startups and support their expansion.<\/p>\n

The program includes specialized training workshops, mentoring and guidance sessions, development consultations, and reviews of notable success stories, in addition to providing co-working spaces and connecting accelerator graduates with a network of potential clients, thereby contributing to the sustainability of their businesses.<\/p>\n
