In a strategic move to enhance its logistics and real estate capabilities, National Housing Company<\/strong> NHC<\/a>the executive arm of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, announced the launch of a logistics city in Khuzam, in collaboration with China's CITIC Construction Company and Al Rawaf Contracting Company.<\/p>\n

The announcement came as part of the\u201cFuture of Real Estate Forum<\/a><\/strong>\u201dThe meeting was held today in Riyadh, where agreements and memorandums of understanding worth up to 30 billion riyals were signed.<\/p>\n

Industrial city and logistics zones for building materials<\/span><\/h4>\n

The latest move comes in the context of the cooperation agreement signed last May with CITIC Construction Group to establish an industrial city and logistics zones specialized in building materials, which includes 12 factories to secure supply chains for residential projects in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Huge portfolio of projects<\/span><\/h4>\n

The National Housing Company (NHC) continues to expand its portfolio, which includes 39 residential projects with an investment value of more than SAR 92 billion, spread across 17 Saudi cities, expected to host more than one million people. The company has also announced new agreements for projects worth more than SAR 142 billion, which it aims to complete by 2025.<\/p>\n

Agreements worth 30 billion riyals<\/span><\/h4>\n

The agreements signed today included several initiatives to support the real estate sector, including:<\/p>\n

MoUs with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources: For cooperation in supply chains and programs to support local content in real estate development.
\nA memorandum of understanding with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and Seef Contracting Co: To develop off-site construction techniques.
\nSupply chain insurance agreements with real estate development companies: These include cooperation with Zamil Air Conditioners and Al-Fanar Building Systems.
\nLaunching \u201cNHC Innovation\u201d
\nAs part of its digital transformation, the National Housing Company announced the launch of NHC Innovation, which specializes in technologies for the real estate and municipal sectors.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Albati, CEO of NHC, explained that NHC Innovation will be an innovative technology arm of the company, and will focus on employing the latest technologies and developing innovative real estate and municipal solutions to raise the level of innovation in the Saudi market.<\/p>\n

Through 10 real estate digital platforms, including Sakany, Baladi, Ejar, and Forsos, NHC Innovation aims to achieve digital transformation in the real estate and municipal sectors. The company is also developing 400 services that serve more than 19 million users, supporting digital transformation and strengthening Saudi Arabia's position as a global center of competitiveness in the technology sector.<\/p>\n
