{"id":74302,"date":"2025-02-11T15:14:12","date_gmt":"2025-02-11T12:14:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=74302"},"modified":"2025-11-25T23:39:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T23:39:12","slug":"%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%aa%d9%81%d8%a7%d8%b9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b1%d9%82%d9%85-%d8%a7%d9%84%d9%82%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%b3%d9%8a-%d9%84%d9%84%d8%a5%d9%86%d8%aa%d8%a7%d8%ac-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b5%d9%86%d8%a7%d8%b9%d9%8a","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/74302\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrial production index rises 2.1 % in December"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The index of production quantities rose <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/category\/%d8%b5%d9%86%d8%b9-%d9%81%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d8%b9%d9%88%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%a9\/\">Industrial<\/a> <\/strong>by 2.1 % compared to the corresponding month of the previous year (December 2023), supported by higher manufacturing activity, water supply and sanitation activity, and waste management and treatment activities.<\/p>\n<p>This is according to the results of the Industrial Production Index (IPI) for December 2024, released by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stats.gov.sa\/\">General Authority for Statistics<\/a><\/strong> Today.<\/p>\n<p>The mining and quarrying sub-index decreased by 0.4 % year-on-year and the manufacturing sub-index increased by 6.3 %, while the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning sub-index decreased by 1.91 % and the water supply, sanitation and waste management and treatment sub-index increased by 0.8 %.<\/p>\n<p>According to the main economic activities, the index for oil activities increased by 1.31 TP3T, and the index for non-oil activities increased by 4.0 TP3T compared to December of the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>It is noteworthy that the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) issues the Industrial Production Index (IPI) on a monthly basis, which is an economic indicator that reflects the relative changes in the volume of industrial production quantities based on the data of the industrial production survey, which is carried out on a sample of industrial establishments operating in the targeted industrial activities, namely mining and quarrying activity, manufacturing industry activity, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply activity, water supply, sanitation, waste management and treatment activities.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt;
