The Public Authority for Real Estate has announced that the deadline is about to expire For the first real estate registration<\/a><\/strong> For (22) neighborhoods in Riyadh city, (25) neighborhoods in Al-Muzahimiyah governorate, and (11) neighborhoods in Diriyah governorate.<\/p>\n

The Commission stated that\u00a0 Cadastre<\/a><\/strong> Registration will end in the following neighborhoods in Riyadh: (part of the Arid neighborhood, Wadi Laban, King Abdullah Energy City, Al Wissam, Al Sahab, Al Marjan, Al Bashaer, Al Iskan, Al Berriya, New Industrial City, Hit, Khashm Al Aan, Uhud, Okaz, Dirab, Al Mansuriyya, Al Hayer, Al Amajiya, Ghanamiya, Umm Al Shaal, Al Sahba and Al Musafat), and in Al Muzahimiyah Governorate, registration will end in the following neighborhoods: (Waseela, Nuwara, Granada, Tuwaiq, Shukhaib, Hadar, Al Yasmin, Al Warud, Al Waha, Al Hada, Al Murooj, Al Muhammadiyah, Al Pearl, Al Ghatghat, Al Aliya, Industrial, Al Saquriyah, Al Shallal, Al Rif, Al Rashidiyah, Al Hazimiyah, Al Hazmiyah, Al Jama'a, Al Andalus and Al Mushairifah), and registration will end in the following neighborhoods in Diriyah Governorate (Al Shuhada, Aqraba, Salam, Al Wadi, Al Adl, Al Adl, Najd, Al Ain, Al Waseel, Prince Sultan, Al Waha, Hijra Bawdah).<\/p>\n

The Authority called on the owners of properties located within the scope of the mentioned neighborhoods to quickly register their properties through the real estate registry platform rer.sa before the registration period expires in order to benefit from the services of implementing real estate transactions and documenting all changes that occur in the property.<\/p>\n

She explained that the Land Registry will issue a \u201cproperty number\u201d and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, and the new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it, to serve as a basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, thus contributing to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its main enablers.<\/p>\n

The General Authority for Real Estate confirmed that failure to register properties within the period specified in the announcement decision exposes their owners to the financial penalties stipulated in the Real Estate Registration Law, which is determined by a committee specialized in considering violations, and that requests for real estate registration continue in all declared areas even after the expiration of the registration period specified in the announcement decision.<\/p>\n
