Services will be reactivated under the new system on Thursday, 5 Shawwal 1446 AH, corresponding to April 3, 2025 AD.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry emphasized the importance of customers paying their bills in full when submitting an online request \u201cbefore the scheduled maintenance shutdown\u201d to avoid having their request canceled.<\/p>\n<p>This comes in preparation for the entry into force of the Commercial Register and Trade Names Regulations (on April 3, 2025), and the resulting sweeping changes to procedures, services, electronic systems, and databases.<\/p>\n<p>The most notable current services related to the two systems that will be discontinued are: issuing a commercial registration, amending a commercial registration, renewing a commercial registration, canceling a commercial registration, transferring ownership of a commercial registration, incorporating companies, amending company contracts, and reserving trade names.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, certain other services that are not affected by the two systems continue to be provided, most notably: commercial notifications, discount permits, commercial franchise services, and commercial certificates.<\/p>\n<p><a
