The Shura Council's Hajj, Housing and Services Committee will study the draft organizational arrangements for imposing fees on white lands after the Council of Ministers last week pushed it to the Shura Council for a comprehensive and in-depth study, said Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhanna, the council's official spokesman.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to sources, the Shura Council's Housing and Services Committee has begun studying the project and will submit its report to the Shura Council's General Assembly, which in turn will refer it to the Council's agenda for discussion and voting within thirty days of its referral to the Council, as required by the royal directive<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that a committee was formed under the chairmanship of the Minister of Housing, and the Ministry of Housing, through the formed committee, will follow a flexible and (gradual) methodology in applying fees on white lands, by periodically reviewing the related policy and regulations with the aim of maintaining the efficiency of the program and the sustainability of its benefits to citizens, and the regulation also includes evaluating the measurement of the actual effects on the interaction of landowners in development, down to the indirect effects on the national economy.<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
