His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Excellency Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, presided over Saudi-American Summit<\/a><\/strong><\/span> at the Royal Court at Al Yamamah Palace.
\nDuring the summit, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America, and coordination efforts to enhance aspects of the strategic partnership between the two friendly countries in various fields, in addition to discussing regional and international developments and issues of common interest and efforts made towards them, in order to achieve security and stability.
\nAfter that, HRH the Crown Prince and HE the US President headed to the lounge prepared for signing and exchanging bilateral agreements and memorandums of cooperation and understanding.
\nHis Highness the Crown Prince and HE the US President signed the Strategic Economic Partnership Document between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United States of America.
\nHe also testified His Highness the Crown Prince and His Excellency the President of the United States<\/strong><\/a><\/span> Ceremonies of exchange and declaration of a number of bilateral agreements and memorandums of cooperation:
\nFirst: A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Energy of the United States of America for cooperation in the field of energy, which was received on the Saudi side by His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, and on the American side by His Excellency the Secretary of Energy, Mr. Chris Wright.
\nAnd the second : A Memorandum of Intent between the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Defense of the United States of America regarding the modernization and development of the capabilities of the Saudi Armed Forces through future defense capabilities, received on the Saudi side by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, and on the American side by His Excellency Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense.
\nA number of agreements and memorandums of understanding were then announced:
\n- A memorandum of cooperation in the field of mining and mineral resources between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Energy of the United States of America.
\n- Signing a letter of intent to complete work and enhance joint cooperation and develop requirements related to ammunition, training, support services, maintenance, systems modernization, spare parts, and education for the Ministry of National Guard's ground and air systems.
\n- A memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Interior's International Partnerships Programs and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the U.S. Department of Justice.
\n- Memorandum of Intent between the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Defense of the United States of America regarding the development of the health capabilities of the Saudi Armed Forces.
\n- A memorandum of understanding for judicial cooperation between the Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Department of Justice of the United States of America.
\n- An executive agreement between the Saudi Space Agency in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in the United States of America to cooperate in the CubeSat project to monitor space weather within the Artemis 2 mission.
\n- Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United States of America on mutual assistance between the customs administrations of the two countries.
\nProtocol Amending an Agreement on Air Transportation between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the United States of America.
\n- A memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the National Institute for Health Research in the Kingdom and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the United States in the field of medical research on infectious diseases.
\n- A cooperation agreement between the Royal Commission for AlUla and the Smithsonian Institution through the National Institute of Zoo and Conservation Biology.
\n- A cooperation agreement between the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate and the Smithsonian Institution through the National Museum of Asian Art.
\nAfter that, HE the President left the Royal Court, where he was followed by His Highness the Crown Prince.
\nThe Saudi-US Summit was attended by HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy; HRH Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet Member; HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Sports; HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; HRH Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; and.
