His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, chaired today's session of the Council of Ministers in Jeddah.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the plans prepared for this year's Hajj season 1446 AH in accordance with the highest levels of efficiency and quality and the highest levels of coordination and integration between the concerned authorities to provide the pilgrims with means of comfort and tranquility, in light of the Kingdom's capabilities, giant development projects and advanced infrastructure that included all aspects of services to facilitate the performance of the rituals for those coming from all over the world.<\/p>\n
During the session, the Cabinet approved amending the organization of the Housing support<\/a><\/strong>as stated in the resolution.<\/p>\n The organization's dependencies included Housing support<\/a><\/strong> Reducing the age of eligibility for housing support for the head of the family to 20 years instead of 25 years, and eliminating the condition of dependency from the divorced wife and mother to give equal opportunities to all citizens of both sexes, in addition to allowing the competent authority to review the period of eligibility for housing support for divorced women with the relevant authorities.<\/p>\n The amendments also included reducing the period of disposal of housing support options from 10 years to 5 years, which enhances the flexibility of utilizing housing solutions and options and keeps pace with the social and economic shifts of the beneficiaries, and within the framework of ensuring transparency, the amendments included tightening the regulatory procedures related to the accuracy of the data entered, as it became possible to recover the amount of housing support, housing unit or land if incorrect information is provided.<\/p>\n The amendment to the organization of housing support comes as a continuation of the efforts made by the \u201cSakani\u201d program to provide various housing options and solutions that suit the needs of Saudi families, and provide flexible and multiple solutions for beneficiaries as part of efforts to enhance housing support and diversify financing and housing options to accelerate the pace of ownership of Saudi families of their homes.<\/p>\n Beneficiaries who meet the conditions will be able to apply and benefit from the amendments to the housing support organization after completing the
