the room occupancy rate in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities in the same quarter amounted to (50.7%), a decrease of (3.8) percentage points from the corresponding quarter of (2024).<br \/>\nAccording to the Tourism Establishment Statistics Bulletin for the first quarter of 2025 issued by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;source=web&amp;rct=j&amp;opi=89978449&amp;url=https:\/\/www.stats.gov.sa\/&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiW9IrOsqCOAxW1REEAHS0RETgQFnoECCkQAQ&amp;sqi=2&amp;usg=AOvVaw3kI3-a3_e7TLyD48d0xEUv\"><strong>General Authority for Statistics<\/strong><\/a>The average daily room rate in hotels amounted to about (477) Saudi riyals, a decrease of (3.4%) compared to the first quarter of last year, and the average daily room rate in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities recorded about (209) riyals during the same quarter, an increase of (7.2%) compared to the same period last year.<br \/>\nAccording to the results, the average length of stay in hotels amounted to (4.1) nights during the first quarter of (2025), the same average in the same quarter of (2024), and the average length of stay in serviced apartments and other hospitality facilities recorded (2.1) nights during the same quarter, a decrease of (4.5%) compared to the same quarter of (2024).<br \/>\nAccording to the bulletin, the total number of people employed in tourism activities increased during this quarter compared to the similar quarter of (2024 AD) to reach (983,253) with an increase of (4.1%), while the number of Saudi employees reached (243,369) employees, with a participation rate of (24.8%) of the total, while non-Saudi employees reached (739,884) employees with a participation rate of (75.2%) of the total employees in tourism activities.<br \/>\nIt also showed that the number of male employees in tourism activities (853,852) with a participation rate of (86.8%) of the total, and the number of female employees in tourism activities (129,401) with a participation rate of (13.2%) of the total employees in tourism activities during the first quarter of (2025).<br \/>\nThe results of the bulletin showed that the percentage of those employed in tourism activities amounted to (5.4%) of the total employed in the economy during the first quarter of (2025), a decrease of (0.3) percentage points from the corresponding quarter of (2024), and the percentage of those employed in tourism activities amounted to (8.1%) of the total employed in the private sector, a decrease of (0.6) percentage points from the first quarter of (2024).<br \/>\nIt is noteworthy that the data of tourism establishment statistics for the first quarter of 2025 is based on several sources to provide
