Signed Diriyah company<\/a><\/strong>a SAR 5.75 billion construction contract for the China Harbor Engineering Co. Al Durai Arena Project<\/a><\/strong>which includes the Diriyah Arena building, three mixed-use office buildings, and parking lots, to further Diriyah's goal of becoming a global cultural and tourism destination.<\/p>\n

Covering a total floor area of about 74,000 square meters, Diriyah Arena is designed to be a multi-use facility that hosts various events, including celebrations, sports competitions, e-sports competitions, and exhibitions, with a capacity of 20,000 spectators, to attract visitors and tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Designed by global architectural firm HKS Inc, the Diriyah Arena's design is inspired by the natural geological formations surrounding Diriyah, while preserving elements of traditional Najdi architecture, achieving a harmonious blend of heritage and innovation.<\/p>\n

In addition to the Arena Diriyah building, the project will include the development of three mixed-use office buildings, designed by the international architectural firm John McAslan & Partners, with a total area of approximately 114,000 square meters, supported by the latest infrastructure technologies. The contract also includes the construction of parking lots for more than 4,000 cars to support the operation of Arena Diriyah and its office facilities, in addition to the Arena Diriyah building.<\/p>\n

The group's CEO said Diriyah company<\/a><\/strong> Jerry Inzerillo: \u201cThe Diriyah Arena will be a cultural landmark, shaping the future of arts and culture in Saudi Arabia, and will serve as a hub for major international events and visitors from around the world to enjoy various sports, arts and entertainment events in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Yang Zhiyuan, CEO of China Port Engineering Middle East, emphasized that this new partnership represents an important milestone for the company's branch in the Kingdom, and will bring to the project global technical expertise and a proven track record in the implementation of the Diriyah Arena project. \u201cWe will harness the best resources and competencies from our companies, work hard to achieve excellence, and ensure the successful and on-time delivery of this world-class project. We are committed to delivering excellence in support of Saudi Vision 2030, and we are very proud to be part of the historic Diriyah project,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

This contract is part of a series of major projects announced by Diriyah since the beginning of 2025, as the company continues to accelerate the pace of development of its projects and achieve successive milestones.
