Revealed Ministry of Municipalities and Housing<\/a><\/strong> represented by the Developmental housing<\/a><\/strong> Continuing its efforts to support deserving families and enable them to obtain adequate housing, 3,770 housing units were provided to deserving families during the first half of this year in various regions of the Kingdom, in continuation of efforts to achieve the objectives of the housing program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to increase ownership rates and achieve housing stability.<\/p>\n

The ministry said in a press release today that these efforts come as a continuation of the achievements made during the past year, as the number of beneficiaries of the ownership programs last year exceeded (21) thousand families, reflecting the continuity of initiatives at a regular pace that contributes to improving the quality of life for the targeted groups.<\/p>\n

During the same period, it succeeded in supporting (16,404) cases of rent defaulters, in addition to providing support to more than (50) thousand cases of rent defaulters during 2024, as part of integrated programs aimed at alleviating the living burdens on the needy.<\/p>\n

In terms of digital transformation and increasing the efficiency of operations, the ministry carried out 77,106 digital operations through its electronic platform, while 6,681 field monitoring tours were carried out on the housing of beneficiaries, with the aim of improving the quality of services and ensuring adherence to the approved operational standards.<\/p>\n

She pointed out that (159) development programs were implemented during the first half of this year, in cooperation with a number of non-profit organizations, within the framework of empowering beneficiaries and building their capacities, while the ministry implemented (300) development programs for eligible families during 2024.<\/p>\n

In the context of supporting the non-profit sector, the Ministry, represented by the Developmental housing<\/a><\/strong> It supervised the establishment, empowerment and support of 50 new non-profit organizations during the first six months of 2025, complementing efforts to expand the scope of third sector participation, while the number of established and empowered organizations in 2024 reached about (400) organizations.<\/p>\n

The number of volunteers registered under the ministry's supervision during the first half of this year reached (171,595) volunteers, compared to (262,000) volunteers in 2024, reflecting the growing community mobility and support for housing programs.<\/p>\n

Through its initiatives and programs, the Development Housing Agency of the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing aims to provide housing units to eligible families and empower third sector associations and institutions, in continuation of its ongoing efforts to achieve the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 - to increase the rates of housing ownership, empower beneficiaries and activate the role of the non-profit sector, which contributes to building a united society and a more efficient and sustainable housing system.\"\"<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
