The ministry said in a press release today that the most prominent violations include re-dividing residential units into smaller parts, opening internal doors, and modifying exits without obtaining the necessary licenses, stressing that these violations are considered a breach of public safety and negatively affect the infrastructure and municipal services, as well as their impact on the social and economic balance in cities.<\/p>\n

She explained that the municipality, with the support of the ministry, continues to carry out field monitoring tours at the regional level, in addition to the digital reports and reports received through the \u201cBaladi\u201d application, within an advanced monitoring system that allows effective control of violations, while taking legal measures against those responsible.<\/p>\n

The ministry said that the control mechanism includes all parties related to the violation, whether the advertiser, owner, investor or tenant, based on the approved municipal regulations and instructions, stressing that the re-division of units without obtaining the necessary licenses is an explicit violation that carries a fine of up to 200,000 riyals.<\/p>\n

And emphasized \u201cMunicipalities and housing<\/a><\/strong>\u201dIt is necessary to adhere to the approved regulatory requirements and prevent the offer or rental of subdivided units through electronic applications without an official license issued by the provincial secretariats, stressing that such practices negatively affect the quality of residential use.<\/p>\n
