The application begins \u201cInfrastructure Projects Code<\/a><\/strong>\u201din the Riyadh region will officially take effect on August 7, after coming into effect in 15 days, according to the Riyadh Region Infrastructure Projects Center<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The code covers the entire area of the Riyadh region, which extends over about 400,000 square kilometers, including the capital and 22 governorates with all their villages, in addition to the extensions of the roads that connect them.<\/p>\n

The code aims to organize and develop Infrastructure Projects<\/a><\/strong> It covers all types of roads, from highways and arterials to collectors and local roads, and provides detailed guidelines for working in sensitive areas and underground, ensuring the safety of residents and workers, and minimizing disruptions and conflicts between projects.<\/p>\n

The code is an integrated reference that organizes eight key stages in the lifecycle of Infrastructure.<\/a><\/strong> From the strategic definition phase, through the design and implementation process, to operation and maintenance, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of performance and quality of implementation and ensuring the long-term sustainability of projects.<\/p>\n

The code is based on six key guiding principles, which represent the core of its operational philosophy: Safety and Control, Efficiency and Continuous Improvement, Communication and Participation, Utilization of Technology and Data, Environmental Sustainability, Community Consideration and Accessibility. These principles aim to balance the technical quality of projects with the requirements of society and the environment.<\/p>\n

The code also includes a system of accurate performance indicators to measure the success of project implementation, including: The percentage of injury-free projects, the number of environmental and community complaints, the level of adherence to license and delivery dates, the percentage of local and sustainable materials used, and stakeholder satisfaction. These indicators provide a continuous practical assessment of the extent to which implementing agencies are adhering to quality and safety standards.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the code includes a comprehensive classification of potential violations that may occur in projects, which range from site safety, cleanliness, license compliance, road quality, site management and signage, environmental and community impact, as well as accessibility during construction.<\/p>\n

The \u201cInfrastructure Projects Code\u201d is an advanced organizational tool to promote integration between all parties involved in projects in the region, whether government or service agencies, contractors, consultants and laboratories, through unified standards that contribute to raising the quality of work and the safety of implementation, and achieving efficiency in government spending.<\/p>\n
