The second day of the Global Infrastructure Forum and Exhibition<\/a><\/strong>held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, amid wide participation of local and international experts and specialists, where the number of visitors on the second day exceeded 9000 visitors from inside and outside the Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The second day of the Global Infrastructure Forum<\/a><\/strong> Signing a cooperation agreement between Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center<\/a><\/strong> It was signed by the first party CEO Engineer Fahad bin Sulaiman Al Bedah and the second party CEO Engineer Rayan bin Abdullah Al Aql, with the aim of developing innovative data-based solutions, exchanging experiences in artificial intelligence and smart cities, in addition to coordinating technical integration with Baladi+ platform to apply it in infrastructure projects, in addition to signing 3 cooperation agreements to support innovation in infrastructure projects, adopt modern technologies and promote integration between the public and private sectors to achieve the goals of sustainable urban development.<\/p>\n

The forum continued with 8 panel discussions that discussed the most prominent future trends in smart cities and digital infrastructure, including various topics related to digital infrastructure and urban intelligence, sustainable development, smart mobility and connected transportation, governance, policies and citizen-oriented services, as well as public-private cooperation and future strategies.<\/p>\n

The sessions were attended by a number of prominent speakers, including the Director General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dr. Hajar Al-Hadawi; the Head of Urban Excellence at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, Dr. Martin Davies; the Head of Smart Cities at the Eastern Province Municipality, Engineer Mohammed Daifallah bin Hajna; the Director of Information Technology and Smart Cities at Knowledge Economic City, Mohammed Shah; the Principal Urban Planner at Atkins Realis, Felina; the Director of New Logistics Zones at the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Alaa Banbilah; and the Executive Director of Geospatial Data Governance at the IAEA, Mohammed Shah; and the Executive Director of Geospatial Data Governance at the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, Dr. Abdulaziz Ahmed.<\/p>\n

Participants emphasized that the future of smart cities in the Kingdom depends on the integration of digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence applications, which contributes to enhancing the quality of life, increasing spending efficiency, achieving sustainable urban development, and making Riyadh one of the most prominent smart cities in the world.<\/p>\n

The forum will continue until Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with the participation of infrastructure leaders and local and international experts to discuss the national infrastructure vision, integrated planning, innovative financing, and future technologies.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
