His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, visited the Madinah Municipality yesterday, during which he met with His Excellency the Governor of the region, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Balishi, and discussed a number of developmental and service projects in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, the efforts made in developing municipal and housing projects were reviewed, as well as the City View platform that allows following up on projects and measuring performance indicators digitally, in addition to reviewing the real estate registry journey in the region as a qualitative leap in preserving rights and enhancing transparency in real estate transactions, as well as the OHI transaction validity system that contributes to raising the reliability and efficiency of procedures.<\/p>\n
In the field of developmental housing, the Minister was briefed on the integration of the Municipality's efforts with charitable societies, where 12 housing projects are being implemented in the region, in addition to 59 partnerships with housing societies that will provide more than 1124 housing units by 2025, achieving a direct impact on the empowerment of beneficiary families. He also witnessed the signing of specific agreements aimed at strengthening housing infrastructure and achieving a tangible impact on the quality of life.<\/p>\n
His Excellency also reviewed the achievements of the municipal sector in Medina, where a number of parks, gardens and urbanization projects have been completed, in addition to a group of road and lighting projects. The achievements also included the implementation of flood drainage projects, buildings and facilities, in addition to projects related to cleanliness and environmental sanitation, as well as the adoption of development and operational projects to improve the urban landscape and enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors.<\/p>\n

to achieve social stability.<\/p>\n After that, His Excellency took a field tour, accompanied by His Excellency the Secretary of the Medina Region, which included the environmental rehabilitation project for Wadi Qanat and Wadi Al-Aqeeq, in addition to visiting the Qiblatain Urban Center and viewing the Downtown Project, which aims to improve the urban environment and create attractive spaces for residents and visitors.<\/p>\n At the end of the visit, the Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Provincial Secretary and all human resources at the Municipality of Madinah for their sincere efforts to improve the quality of life and achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, stressing that the Ministry is continuing to develop Saudi cities and promote
