Arabia to be top Arab steel producer in 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Saudi Arabia topped the list of the largest Arab countries producing crude steel during the first eight months of 2025, according to data <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/aisusteel.org\/20137\/\">World Steel Organization<\/a><\/strong> transported by the Arab Iron and Steel Union.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Saudi Steel Production<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>In details, the Kingdom's total production of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/72976\/\">steel<\/a> <\/strong>Crude production reached 6.928 million tons from January to August, registering a growth of 11.9% compared to the same period last year, while in August alone, Saudi Arabia achieved production of 1.007 million tons, a significant year-on-year increase of 64.1%.<\/p>\n<p>With this, the Kingdom's production accounted for 49.5% of the total Gulf production and 24.5% of Arab production, outperforming Egypt, whose production declined by 5.6% to 6.687 million tons in the first 8 months of the year, compared to the same period last year, and in August, Egypt's production fell to 896 thousand tons, a decrease of 0.2%.<\/p>\n<p>In North Africa, Egypt tops the production list, accounting for 55% of the region's total production of 11.982 mn tons during the first eight months of the year, while Algeria came
