Issued General Authority for Statistics<\/a> Today, the results of the Labor Market Statistics Bulletin for the second quarter of 2025 revealed a positive development in the Kingdom's labor market indicators. The participation rate in the Labor force<\/a> The total employment rate (for Saudis and non-Saudis) was 67.1%, while the overall unemployment rate was 3.2%.<\/p>\n

Saudi Arabia's labor participation rate<\/span><\/h4>\n

The bulletin showed that the labor force participation rate of Saudis reached 49.2%, while the Unemployment<\/a> In terms of age groups, the report showed that Saudi males had a labor force participation rate of 64%, while their unemployment rate was 4.3%. In contrast, the labor force participation rate for Saudi females was 34.5% with an unemployment rate of 11.3%.<\/p>\n

Rate of employed Saudi women<\/span><\/h4>\n

Among Saudi youth in the 15-24 age group, the employment rate for Saudi females was 13.8%, while the labor force participation rate was 17.4%. Young Saudi males in this group recorded an employment rate of 28% with a labor force participation rate of 31.6%.<\/p>\n

For the Saudi population of prime working age (25 to 54 years old), the employed-to-population ratio was 63.3%, the labor force participation rate was 67.3%, and the unemployment rate was 5.9%.<\/p>\n

Regarding job search methods, the bulletin reported that 72.4% of job seekers used the method of applying directly to employers, followed by the unified national employment platform (Jadarat)<\/a> 56.3%, while looking for work through friends or relatives accounted for 50.5%.<\/p>\n

These results continue to reinforce the Kingdom's efforts to achieve its economic goals in accordance with Vision 2030 by enhancing the participation of Saudis in the labor market and developing modern employment methods.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
