The Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, sponsored the launch of the first installment of the third phase of the Developmental Housing Program<\/a><\/strong>which is implemented by the Saudi National Bank (SNB) in partnership with Ministry of Municipalities and Housing<\/a><\/strong>233 housing units were handed over to the neediest families and families of martyrs, coinciding with Arab Housing Day 2025.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majid Al Haqeel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Saudi Arabia Saeed bin Mohammed Al Ghamdi, and CEO Tariq bin Abdulrahman Al Sadhan, along with a number of senior officials.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, Minister Al Haqeel expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry and the National Bank of Saudi Arabia, saying that this partnership represents a successful model for the integration of efforts between the public and private sectors to serve the community, and contributes to supporting the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 to raise the percentage of residential ownership to 70%, and enable Saudi families to own their first home, in fulfillment of the aspirations of the wise leadership.<\/p>\n

Support for development housing programs<\/span><\/h4>\n

The minister expressed his thanks to the bank's chairman and employees for their continuous efforts in supporting the bank's programs. Developmental housing<\/a> <\/strong>Promote a culture of social responsibility.<\/p>\n

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Bank, Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, explained that developmental housing is one of the bank's top priorities as part of its social responsibility programs, noting that the project goes beyond the idea of delivering housing units to be an investment in people and society, promoting the values of family stability and social solidarity.<\/p>\n

Al-Ghamdi added that the bank will continue through its community programs to launch quality initiatives that embody its commitment to its national role and responsibility towards the community, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in sustainable development, stressing its pride in the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, which represents a model of integration between various sectors to achieve the goal of providing decent housing for the country's citizens.<\/p>\n

The ceremony also witnessed the announcement of the launch of the \u201cSocial Entrepreneurship Accelerator\u201d in the municipalities and housing sector, which aims to support and empower startups and enhance their role in creating innovative solutions in the field of housing. For the third consecutive year, the bank continues to implement a student volunteering initiative in partnership with municipalities and secretariats in various regions of the Kingdom, promoting a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility.<\/p>\n

The National Bank of Saudi Arabia was the first bank to launch this charitable project in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing in 2017. This partnership has contributed to providing more than 1,147 housing units to needy families in various regions of the Kingdom, at a total cost of more than SAR 194 million, reflecting the bank's firm commitment to supporting development initiatives and improving the quality of life for citizens.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
